PRODUCTS APPLICATIONS

The range of application for water soluble films is very wide and variable.
Their specific properties can be used to make up bags also in the form of unit doses.

• hazardous or toxic products
• highly staining products
• powder/granular with strong/lasting odour
• powder/granular demanding precise addition
• detergents (liquid or powder form)
• bactericides
• dyestuff or pigments
• concrete additives
• agrochemicals

These films facilitate the handling of the bags. Unit dose packs, by containing the product within a barrier, dissolve into water. In this way, contact with the skin and inhalation is entirely eliminated.
Water soluble films are generally insoluble in the majority of organic solvents.
The solubility can be slowed down or stopped altogether by contact with products with a pH acid or alkaline.
